A Green Tech Solution for   Poultry Farmers

Makes Chicken Litter More Profitable

The Cykloburn patent pending clean burn technology was developed at Morgan State University and is being refined under license to Cykloburn Technologies LLC.  Cycloburn uses an advanced fluidized bed combustion system (FBCS) process that has been proven with a  Maryland TEDCO MII stage I grant.  The technology was developed to overcome the disadvantages of existing biomass to energy solutions - that of scale.  A Cykloburn system can be profitable for individual poultry farmers with as few as two chicken houses.

Cykloburn Technologies LLC was formed in early 2017 as a subsidiary of Technology Commercialization Ventures, LLC (TCV) with the specific purpose of licensing Cykloburn technology from Morgan State University.  TCV partners Doug Zeisel and Rob Meissner worked closely with Morgan State's Office of Technology Transfer to become Morgan State's first technology licensee and to secure funding from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources via the University of Maryland MTECH MIPS program for further technological development.  Cykloburn Technologies LLC is pursuing numerous financing opportunities to include government grants and equity investments.  Accredited investors are welcome to contact Doug Zeisel (doug@techcomventures.com) directly.

Cykloburn is supported by the National Science Foundation, Maryland TEDCO, MTECH MIPS, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources
